sowing seeds of connection
A Weekend of Nourishing Your Nervous System Through Movement, Music, and Plant Medicine.
July 3–5, 2026
Oshala Farm Applegate, OR
Guided by somatic therapist Azure Samuels, Superbloom is a thoughtfully curated weekend of sensory-rich experiences and therapeutic practices for women. It's an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and get curious about how relational trauma might be showing up in your life. Superbloom is an opportunity to learn more about the parts work approach to emotional and relational wellbeing, and how we can tend to these parts through music, movement, and herbal remedies.
Why Superbloom?
A desert superbloom is a quiet miracle. Seeds lie dormant for years — patient, waiting. Then the rain comes and something ancient stirs. What seemed barren erupts into color, spectacular and abundant — brought forth simply because what is needed is finally given. Your nervous system works the same way. Superbloom is the rain.

THE EXPERIENCE
"A thoughtfully curated weekend of sensory-rich experiences and therapeutic practices"
Welcome to a magical riverside sanctuary...
After a welcoming circle, the evening unfolds into an immersive botanical experience guided by somatic therapist Azure Samuels. Drawing from parts work and an understanding of how the nervous system holds memory, Azure leads us into the intimate relationship between scent, the body, and the stories we carry. Working with exquisite natural plant essences from Portland perfumery Artemisia, each guest will craft a personal fragrance — a sensory anchor to carry into the weekend ahead.
For dinner, a table of local seasonal offerings will nourish guests throughout the evening, accompanied by handcrafted botanical elixirs that awaken the soul and delight the senses.
Friday
Saturday morning is when the fun really begins! The day starts with breakfast and tea surrounded by mountains on beautiful Oshala Farm. Nourished and ready for the day ahead, Azure will guide you through an integrated somatic flow practice set to soulful beats - blending movement, breathwork, and therapeutic practices.
After a farm-fresh lunch by the river, the sober herbalist Drea Moore provides an intimate exploration of medicinal plants that nourish, soothe, and restore balance to the nervous system. Her work offers an embodied understanding of how herbal remedies can attend states of distress and depletion, providing both knowledge and a remedy blended specifically for you.
As evening arrives, chef Adrian Haessler builds the fire as locally sourced ingredients are slow-cooked over an open flame. A fire-to-table feast is shared as the Applegate valley settles into dusk.
The night unfolds into a moonlight soirée with a special Superbloom set by DJ MatriOracle, whose deeply rhythmic soundscape draws from global influences, earthy percussion, and voices that evoke movement, freedom, and celebration.
Saturday
Sunday
After a grounding morning sound bath, Azure guides the group through a gentle somatic flow designed to support integration and reflection, followed by a botanical crafting experience in Oshala farm's beautiful willow garden.
As the day winds down, we will share our final meal together next to the crystal clear waters of the Applegate River. Swim, wander, rest in the sun, and soak in the final moments of the weekend before heading home nourished and connected.
Connection + Celebration
We are wired for connection. The nervous system does not heal in isolation — it heals in relationship. The felt sense of safety we are searching for is not something we find alone; it is something we build together through attunement, shared rhythm, and the simple act of being witnessed.
At Superbloom, connection is the container. From shared meals to evenings spent moving together under an open sky, the weekend is designed to activate the body's natural pathways to ease and trust — and to leave you feeling less alone in the world.
